DeVine hasn't been on the greatest hot streak in the last few months. Losing opportunity after opportunity for the SKCW Championship. Losing matches to cheap no name talents like the Tiger family. But tonight on Starrcade, the first pay-per-view under the AfterShock brand, DeVine is looking to rewrite history and become the first European Champion of this new era.
Allen DeVine walks through the arena with a heavy head of thoughts and ambitions for achieving greatness. The first edition of the revival of AfterShock as a brand didn't go so well for him with the lose to the Stanley RYan Tiger and Debra Lynn Tiger in the mixed tag match with partner Taylor Archor. Allen DeVine heads towards the gorilla curtain to address the live crowd. "Adrenaline" plays as Allen DeVine bursts through the curtain to the booing crowd. Allen DeVine turns around on the top of the ramp taunting the crowd. DeVine quickly turns around and heads down the ramp. DeVine slides across the ring apron before climbing into the ring. DeVine leans through the ropes and gets a microphone from Bree Vaughn.
Allen DeVine Rey Diablo comes out here and claims that I am not as great as I claim to be. He claims he is the best damn thing to come to AfterShock and the greatest export from Mexico. I will give him the fact that he is from Mexico. The greatest export though? I have had some killer burritos from Mexico that were far better than you Rey Diablo. In fact, I had diarrhea that was greater than you. You call yourself the King Devil but I have found nothing kingly or evil about you. Well besides that god awful costume, nothing evil about you. It must be because you hide that horrific face behind that mask. What is it that has made it clear to you that you deserve to be in the ring with a former SKCW Champion? What makes you think you deserve to be competing for the European Championship? You are nothing more than a no talent hack. You don't even deserve to be in the same building let alone ring as me. You are going to be walking into your own personal hell. I am going to run you around. I am going to tire you out. I am going to tie you up. And I am going to humiliate you in this ring. I can out wrestle you. I can out fly you. I can beat you and I will beat you. I lost on the debut AfterShock due to a technicality. I had a sinus infection that night. I was in no condition to compete but I competed anyways. That is what a true competitor does. I am the absolute best here on AfterShock. I should be in the Steel Xscape for the International Championship but I will bide my time and take this European Championship straight to the International Championship. And there is no man that is going to stop me from doing so. Not you Rey Diablo. Not James E. Dangerously. Not this unknown General Manager. Not Stanley Ryan Tiger. Not the road agents. Not the Steel Xscape competitors. I will get what I want and I will destroy all that oppose me. Why? Because I am so damn good at being so damn great!
Allen DeVine drops the microphone as "Adrenaline" plays and the crowd erupts in deafening boos. Allen DeVine climbs out of the ring and heads up the ramp smiling still confident as can be. |
