Steel Xscape is a structure that something of myth in SKCW. A match that is only seen once a year and for good reason. This match will not only shorten careers but will shorten lives. Men and women have not walked but crawled out of the structure have had external and internal harm done to them. Championships have been won and lost in the structure. Tonight will be no different as the World Heavyweight Champion and Women's World Champion will be defending within the Steel Xscape against strong competitors. Tonight I will be one of the men stepping into the Steel Xscape biding for the World Heavyweight Championship. A championship that will be my first championship shot since coming to Overdrive!. And tonight I am going to pull out all the stops to become World Heavyweight Champion.
The Air Canada Centre in Toronto Ontario Canada plays host for Overdrive!'s last big event before WrestleMania. The winners tonight will determine the whole fate of WrestleMania as a whole. Overdrive!'s premiere talent have all arrived to the arena getting in their pre-match rituals in order before the big event. The fans start piling into the arena hoping to catch a glimpse into the backstage antics of the Overdrive! competitors.
Finn Danielson heads for the entrance of the arena before being mobbed by a group of screaming fans wanting photos and autographs. Danielson is eating this attention up and happily agrees. Danielson smiles as he wishes them the best and heads into the arena. Danielson heads into the locker room and places his bags down chatting with the other occupants of the room before heading for the shower room to get ready.
Finn Danielson emerges from the locker room ready for media attention or an impromptu match, whichever just happens to come up. Danielson heads down the hall towards the entrance way. Danielson slaps and shakes hands with the fellow competitors as he made his way down the hall. Danielson approached the gorilla curtain waiting for the signal.
"Game Over" echos through out the arena as the fans erupt in cheers for the beloved superstar newly traded to Overdrive!. Finn Danielson walks through the curtain and is met with a wave of overwhelming crowd support. Danielson smiles and heads down the ramp slapping hands with the fans. Danielson walks up the steel steps picking up a microphone and enters the ring. Danielson climbs up the turnbuckles and hypes the crowd. Danielson raises the microphone to his lips.
Finn Danielson It seems that I have been hearing from multiple news outlets that I am considered an underdog for the upcoming Steel Xscape match tonight. That I am too little to succeed in this company. That I don't have enough of a personality to be a star. That I am not handsome enough to be marketed as a World Champion. Hell! I have even heard people claiming that I am a homosexual because I haven't been seen running around sleeping with multiple woman on a weekly basis like VIP or The Entourage. Told that I can't be marketed seriously as a tough guy because my size and showing no interest in anyone. First off, I am not gay and what I do behind closed doors has nothing to do with you fans, the superstars in the back, or the management team. It is not my fault my genetics make me a smaller guy in this industry but I sure as hell can out maneuver any of the big men in this company and wrestle circles around them. You want some high flying non stop technical wrestling? I'm your guy. In fact, Steel Xscape is pretty much my home. It is built for men of my stature and abilities. Climbing the walls and flying off doing death defying moves. That is my wheel house. Tonight I step into Steel Xscape as the underdog challenger but I will walk out with the World Heavyweight Championship and I will go to WrestleMania to face Charlie Haas in a match not only I but the world has been waiting for. Alexander Pierce, JT Roma, Wesley Walker...I am not going to walk into that structure without walking out with the championship. Blood. Sweat. Tears. Body parts. I will sacrifice everything to leave with that championship. I will even sacrifice your blood, your sweat, your tears, and your body parts to get that championship around my waist.
Finn Danielson drops the microphone as "Game Over" echos once again. Danielson climbs out of the ring and heads back up the ramp to the backstage area. |
