the new millennium begins now;;
Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. An international sensation is born. The man soon to be known as The New Millennium of Professional Wrestling. Two thousand-fourteen is the year that the name known as Finn Danielson left the European and Japanese Wrestling community to head to a territory never before explored by him, The United States. Danielson has had a match or two in Canada. He has competed a couple times in Mexico. But the United States was a region he just hasn't stepped foot into. Danielson's first experience in the United States started off better than expected but ended with a bitter taste in his mouth. And now, Danielson has found a place to rise and spread his name across the globe even further.
Tonight marks the return to Europe for the Irish born native with the event appropriately named British UpRising. The Genocide roster is pumped for the annual trip overseas to expand the reach of the SKCW company. Danielson is excited for his return home to compete for the prestigious North American Championship. His opponents. the North American Champion Tony Johnson and English Native Andrew Palmer, will be tough competition and Danielson is looking forward to the greatest challenge of his SKCW career to date.
Finn Danielson steps off the plane in the London Lutin Airport in London to photographers and fans alike. Danielson takes the time to pose for photos, meet with fans, and sign autographs. Danielson thanks everyone and continues on his venture through the airport to the baggage claim. Danielson gets his bags as he signs more autographs and poses with fans. Danielson heads out of the airport to the awaiting car. Danielson loads up the car and heads out on his forty-one mile drive to the arena.
Danielson steps into the SKCW Arena in Northampton with his bags in hand waving to the fans waiting outside of the arena. Danielson heads for the locker room and gets his ring gear on for his upcoming match. Danielson walks out of the locker room heading through the arena to the make up area to get his pay-per-view art work done. Jennifer Miller walks up to Danielson just before the artwork was being started for an interview.
JENNIFER MILLER "Finn Danielson. Can I get a quick couple words from you?"
Danielson nods in the direction of the make up artists as they vacate the area momentarily
FINN DANIELSON "Of course. I am all your's."
Jennifer Miller adjusts her shoulders real quick before starting the interview.
JENNIFER MILLER "Finn Danielson, you come from Bray County Wicklow Ireland, roughly three hundred miles west of here. How does it feel to be back home area for the first time since coming to SKCW?"
FINN DANIELSON "Honestly it feels great. I spent most of the beginning of my wrestling career here in the United Kingdom. Traveled up and down Ireland. I traveled over here and competed. I traveled to Wales and competed. I been all over the great continent of Europe. I feel great to be here. I just got of a plane from Bray as a matter of fact doing promotional work. I am happy to be back."
JENNIFER MILLER "Tonight, you will be stepping into the ring with Blackpool native Andrew Palmer and the North American Champion Tony Johnson with the North American Championship on the line. Two of the top talents on the Genocide roster and with one of the most prestigious championships in the entire company. How are you preparing for such a big match?"
FINN DANIELSON "I have been in high profile matches before all over the globe. Ireland, Wales, England, Germany, Japan, India, Mexico, Canada, and finally the United States. SKCW is not my first shot at stardom in the United States. I was previously with another company and was billed as the top premiere guy in the company. I became the World Champion in record time. But sadly I got a bitter taste in my mouth after losing the championship. A release came a week later and SKCW has graciously brought me in and allowed me to put my talents to good use. I will not be allowing the pressures of championship gold bring me down. I will be going down to the ring later tonight and I will be putting on the performance of a lifetime."
JENNIFER MILLER "Lets break down your opponents tonight. First lets talk about fellow challenger Andrew Palmer. He is a former HCW successful. He is still calling himself the HCW Internet Champion even though the brand has been off the air for several months. He has former Diva Search contestant Harlee Lambert in his corner carrying around brass knuckles. What is your plan to combat this?"
FINN DANIELSON "Andrew Palmer is a competitor that I think is not being used to his best potential. Harlee Lambert is the perfect counterpart for him. But to get back to your question. I am a versatile superstar in the ring. I can adapt to other people's styles and use it to my advantage. Andrew Palmer has a hard punch and he usually gets a pair of brass knuckles to accompany it. Andrew Palmer is a technically sound athlete and will use his intense conditioning to get what he wants. Not only is his punch dangerous but so is his submission abilities. And I have been training to be able to handle and possibly counter them. I feel like the only real uncertainty with him is Harlee."
JENNIFER MILLER "What are your thoughts on the Mix Martial Artiest turned Professional Wrestler and current North American Champion, Tony Johnson?"
FINN DANIELSON "Tony Johnson is a dangerous man. He has fought in the octagon and gave it up to come to professional wrestling. In short time, Tony Johnson become to the Global Champion then excelled into the North American Championship division. He will be competing twice tonight and that shows you just how tough he is. He too has a dangerous punch and is a technically sound athlete. My extensive career has brought me here tonight and my arsenal of maneuvers will bring home the North American Championship to myself and bring the New Millennium to SKCW."
JENNIFER MILLER "Thank you and good luck tonight."
Finn Danielson nodded and kissed Jennifer Miller's hand before she exited the room allowing the make up crew to return and start on the extensive work on his body paint. |
