the reboot of the new millennium;;
The Houston crowd is electric with the arrival of the annual Royal Rumble event. Superstars from Overdrive! and Genocide are all over the backstage area doing interviews, reviewing licensing deals, and talking on their phones. Finn Danielson walks into the arena with his bags in tow knowing he has a lot to prove in the Rumble. He came in with much hype and anticipation from the indies. Has he lived up to the hype? Has he been able to do the things he promised? Can tonight be the night that The New Millennium finally arrives?
Finn Danielson walks down the halls of the arena before being stopped by a camera crew looking for a few words from the former North American Champion. Danielson sets his bags down as the cameras focus on him.
Finn Danielson When I came here to SKCW, I was brought in with a lot of hype and anticipation because of all my accolades and world class talent outside of these four walls. I have been hearing everyone over the last few months talk about how my hype is unwarranted. Saying I am a dud. Not worth all the money or camera time I have been receiving. No matter where I go, I am asked, "How do you feel about what people are saying?" "Where is all this talent you claim to have?". And what do I have to say about it? I really don't care what other people are saying about me. A lot of the people talking trash and filth and hatred towards me have never been a world champion anywhere. I have. These people have never stepped foot into a no rules environment and won gold. I have. These people have never represented a continent as a whole. I have. I have come here with momentum and hype and I believe it is accurate. Have I had some hiccups since coming to SKCW? Of course. All of us have. But I am far from a dud in this company. I have been North American Champion. I have come out here day after day and fought men that the internet wrestling community would piss their pants stepping into the ring with. I came to the Royal Rumble just like the rest of the SKCW roster; to win the Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania fourteen. Can I win the Royal Rumble? Of course. Do I see anyone in the match a threat? Of course. All twenty-nine competitors are threats. Over the top rope battle royals are unpredictable. Anything can happen. The reigning two time Rumble winner, Stanley Ryan Tiger, is the biggest threat in there. But he also has the biggest target on his back. No one will let him last more than ten seconds in the match. Tony Johnson, the reigning North American Champion, could very well knock you out then just gingerly push you over the top rope. But my quick foot work and strong kicks, I could very well send any man over the top rope winning the twenty-sixteen Royal Rumble. So every man is a threat and every man has a target on their back. Tonight, I will allow everyone's little personal dramas boil over and eliminate each other then I will pick up the scraps and toss people over the top rope right and left to become the next Royal Rumble winner. I am not afraid of big men or the little ones. I am a world class talent and the next apex competitor. The New Millennium will rise and walk away with the win tonight.
