| Starrcade was a night that Andrew Palmer and Harlee Lambert didn't want to remember. Palmer was unable to win the North American Championship which meant that Harlee would be without a champion client once again. Palmer prided himself in being one of the top tier competitors in professional wrestling and always felt disappointment when his championship inquiries didn't pan out. Harlee, on the other hand, absolutely adored Palmer and would follow him to the ends of the world just to be by his side. Champion or not, Harlee loved Palmer and knew he was the best man not only in professional wrestling but also for herself.
Andrew Palmer and Harlee Lambert walk through the underground parking lot of the American Airlines Arena towards the doors to enter. Palmer was determined to right the wrong from Starrcade while Harlee was just happy to be employed and working with her man. She prided herself on being one of the limited individuals able to work with her love interest. Of course, under Palmer's rules, they didn't showcase their relationship to the world and always kept it to a professional level in the arenas.
Andrew Palmer and Harlee Lambert split off momentarily to go to their gender's respective locker rooms to get ready for the evening. Palmer took the moment of solidarity to get into his ring attire and pump out a few sets of limbering stretches and workouts. Palmer took his workouts seriously and never frayed away from his traditional daily exercises that built onto his strength and flexibility. If he wasn't a champion, he wanted to make sure he was the number one contender or an uncrowned champion. After limbering up and getting his mild workout done, he exited the locker room and joined with Harlee standing outside the door leaning against the wall filing her nails.
Andrew Palmer and Harlee Lambert walk down the hall before being confronted by David Denmark about an interview. Palmer looks to Denmark before taking the microphone from him and pushing him out of the way. Harlee stands next to her man clutching his arm as Palmer makes a statement about his match later in the evening.
Andrew Palmer: Starrcade was not a night that will soon be forgotten. I will be the bigger man and I will admit that I took my eye off Tony Johnson for a moment that allowed him to land a cheap shot on me to gain the North American Championship once again. Bravo Mister Johnson. Bravo. We both congratulate you on such a cheap victory.
Harlee Lambert: Bravo grand homme. Nous vous félicitons.
Andrew Palmer: But you ran with it all the way here where you are singing the praises that you overcame the odds and walked out the winner.
Harlee Lambert: Honte à vous pour avoir menti au peuple!
Andrew Palmer: And tonight you will be walking into that ring with a man that is not looking for vengeance or retribution. You are walking into the ring with a man that is going to show your flaws in the ring. You have nothing but a punch. I have a wide array of maneuvers and strikes that will send your head spinning. I can put you to sleep, break your arms, break your legs, rip your muscles and tendons, I could even break your neck if I chose to do so. But I am not a violent man.
Harlee Lambert: Non, il est un homme aimant douce. Il est le plus grand.
Andrew Palmer: I am just going to make sure you know your place in this company. Global Champion or Xtreme Champion. Maybe Impact Champion as long as I am not on Overdrive!. Not SKCW Champion. Not World Heavyweight Champion. Not North American Champion.
Andrew Palmer: Face the facts. I am going to be walking out of this arena with the North American Championship around my waist and I will make sure not only you but the whole world know that I am the real definition of a champion.
Palmer drops the microphone and walks away with Harlee clutching his arm tightly. |
